Game Rules :

You may not harass or threaten other players.
Only English is allowed on trade.
Spamming - Repeating messages incessantly will result in a temporary mute or a ban.
Do not Exploit- Taking advantage of any part of the game, beyond what it was obviously designed for, to gain advantages for yourself or others can result in a permanent ban. Aiding a exploiter in any way carries the same consequences as exploiting.
Do not use Bots - The use of botting programs for any exploitative purpose will result in a permanent ban.
You may not use any content, which is harassing, vulgar, obscene, abusive, threatening, harmful, libellous, or defamatory, encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liabilities, or is unlawful in any other way.
You may not use any content protected by intellectual property laws or by rights of privacy, unless you own the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents. You shall be solely liable for any damage resulting from any infringement of copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights.
You will not upload or transmit in the Game any copyrighted content that you do not own all rights to, unless you have the express written permission of the author or copyright holder.
You may not impersonate any Mercury Shaiya staff members.
You will follow the instructions of authorized personnel while in the Game, including Game Sages.
You may not make any false representation, including impersonation of any person or entity or misrepresentation of your affiliation with any person or entity.
You may not make use of the forums or game for commercial purposes, such as advertising any products or services, reselling or publishing the information posted or transmitted.
You may not violate any local, state, national or international law or regulation.
You may not make use of the forums or game for the exchange or transfer of any pirated or illegal software.
You may not organize nor be a member of any clans or groups within the Game that are based on, or espouse, any racist, sexist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, or other hate-mongering philosophy.
You may not give false information or intentionally hide any information when registering for your Game account as we require this information to verify ownership of accounts.
You may not modify any part of the Game Client, Server or any part of the Game.
You will not attempt to interfere with, hack into, or decipher any transmissions to or from the server running the Game.
You will not exploit any bugs in the Game and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bugs (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits in game), either directly or indirectly, to any other Game player.
You will not operate any softwares that interferes with, or interacts with the game in such a manner as to provide an advantage to the user.
You may not hold Mercury Shaiya responsible for any information that is passed between players. Mercury Shaiya does not guarantee the safe keeping of information that is passed between players and will not be held responsible for any resulting losses or consequences arising from the improper use of said information.
You may not hold Mercury Shaiya responsible for any loss of usage or data experienced as a result of server maintenance or other server down times such as restarts or crashes.
All in game items, and accounts are the property of Mercury Shaiya . No sale/exchange of said items is allowed accept as authorized by Mercury Shaiya.
You may not enter towns of the other faction, as punishment you might lose kills or whatever admin sees fit.
You may not reset a boss to get benefit over your own faction, GRB event included.
You may not dismantle pvp raids without proper reason.
You may not join a pvp raid with 2 characters at the same time. You may not join both faction pvp raids at the same time.
Staffs have the right to tell you to stop what you are doing if they see it is necessary. NO MATTER IF THERE IS A RULE OR NOT! If staff says don’t do it, do not argue or you may be banned or have other consequences to deal with.
During events, staff has the right to change all rules of the game for the event. Do not disrupt an event, doing so is bannable and you may be punished.
You may not Trade Scams – Scamming players out of items will result in a ban and removal of the items in question.
You may not make Illegal Trades – The buying or selling of items, or accounts for real money, or exchanging them for those in any other games will result in a permanent ban.
You may not Sell/Buy an account - The buying or selling of accounts is not tolerated and both players will be permanently banned.
No sharing account – Sharing your account with any other player is at your own risk and can result in a permanent ban. Items lost to account sharing will not be restored.
Account Phishing/GM Impersonation – Impersonating a GM or any member of the Mercury Shaiya staff for exploitative purposes or trying to get a user's login information will result in a permanent ban.
Report bugs to Mercury staff member immediately, exploiting any of the bugs will result in a ban
You may not attack anyone inside the vail on any map. You may not use any skill that makes the other faction move out of the vail. You may not exploit the vail in any ways.
You may not go behind guards or ides to attack players, you may attack other players that are behind guards but you may not go past the guards to attack them. You may not stay inside ides.
False Report – Submitting a false harassment report can result in a temporary ban. This also applies to false reports regarding item-related issues. If we check our logs and find that the report being sent in is false, it will result in a ban.
Inappropriate Character or Guild Names - Choosing names that are defamatory, vulgar, prejudice/racist, or explicitly sexual will result in a forfeit of your right to choose the name.

PvP Rules :

NO manual raid on PvP or Boss.
NO leader gain on boss raid
NO dismantle the raid without appropriate reason, remake immediately if it was an accident.
NO kicking people out of the raid without reason.
NO naked toon on pvp map.
NO dual boxing on maps for Event or PvP
NO statpadding (or full ban IP)
NO killing behind guard
